Confederate Railroad is a country band founded in the early 1990s from Texas, USA. The lead singer is Danny Shirly.//During the first half of the '90's when country music made a dramatic stylistic shift towards up-tempo material, Confederate Railroad rose to prominence with contributions like "Trashy Women" and "Queen of Memphis." The Civil War-era cannons and cannonballs, the whaling-era trypot and other aging features of the park were just recently repainted.

JEFFERSON — For a revolutionary July 4th celebration, climb aboard as the Historic Jefferson Railway recreates the golden era of steam railroading. For a cool blast on a hot fourth, every rider this weekend will receive free watermelon and a prize from the treasure chest.
