Smoke alarms alert sleepers of fire in Louisville
Working smoke alarms went off and evidently roused one of two young adults home alone when a fire broke out at their residence at 908 Richards St. in Louisville early Thursday morning.

The Louisville metro government will close for three days to help reduce a projected $20 million budget deficit.
