Moving Units is a dance-rock band from Los Angeles, California.//The band was formed in 2001 by Chris Hathwell, Blake Miller, and Johan Bogeli, when their former band, Festival of Dead Deer, broke up. They released their debut EP, Moving Units, early 2002, and began touring, at one point opening for Blur.Their debut full-length album, Dangerous Dreams, was released on October 12, 2004 by Palm Pictures.The band has since finished a number of tours, and has been chosen to open up for Nine Inch Nails on the first half of their 2006 tour
