Buddy Jewell is an American country music performer. Born in Osceola, Arkansas, he was the first winner of the Nashville Star country music singing contest. Prior to his Nashville Star triumph, Jewell released two previous albums, but following his post-Nashville Star album, Buddy Jewell, debuted at number one and earned him a gold record and two top five singles.
