This article has been tagged since May 2006.Less Than Jake is a ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida. The band's current line up includes: Chris (guitar, vocals), Roger (bass, vocals), Vinnie (drums, lyrics), Buddy (trombone) and JR (saxophone). The band's name is derived from Vinnie's childhood dog, Jake, which was treated better than the rest of the family, so everything in the house was referred to as "less than Jake".[citation needed]They are currently signed to Warner Brothers Records. Less Than Jake has recently finished recording their latest studio album, In With the Out Crowd, which was released on Tuesday, May 23, 2006./
