'Wish Night' makes wonderful dreams come true
What began in McKinney might just sweep the nation as the National Cheerleader Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation signed contracts for a "Wish night."

Welcoming the challenge
A group of girls stood in formation atop mats on the Pine Beach Elementary School gym floor. They cheered and shook their pompoms, taking direction from the coaches positioned in front of them. The girls, all special-needs students from the Toms River area, were practicing their "competition cheer," Head Coach Tammy Meyh said during a short water break.
