Cops near goal for this year's Shop with a Cop
The deadline for Shop With a Cop draws nearer and Deming and Luna County are in the spirit. Luna County Sheriff's Lt. Allen Carter reported Wednesday that Deming's Solitaire Homes donated $1,000 for the event, which treats children from low-income homes to a Christmas-season shopping spree at Kmart.
